How to Factory Reset a Kwikset Halo Touch Smart Lock

If you ever need to factory reset your Kwikset Halo Smart Lock, the process is pretty simple. Here’s what you need to do.

1. Lock the deadbolt.
2. Remove the cover and remove the battery pack. The battery pack slips out of the top of the lock.

3. Hold down the black button in the center of the lock, just above the LED light, while lowering the battery pack back into its slot.

4. Keep holding down the button for 30 seconds, or until the light flashes red.

5. Press the button again. The light should flash green and red a few times.
